huzzah!

life is looking up these days. not sure why, but right now, i'm in a pretty good mood. wait- could be better, just a second...

deodorant + hand lotion... yessir, things are looking up :) who knows, maybe a shower might even occur in the next twelve hours. or whenever i wake up. no rush

work's cranking up, which is lovely. apparently, my supervisors are impressed with my confrontation skills. they've seen how i shut down when i get angry, and when i kept my cool as a "drunk student" (who was really a supervisor acting belligerent and doing a disturbingly good job) harassed me. hooray for scenario training!

and when the real deal took place this saturday, and a kid tried to get into it with me by asking me "so, do you like your job?" in a fairly unfriendly tone, i went with "yeah, it pays my room, and they feed me." then he went back to giving my supervisor shit. it was lovely.

i do need to finish unpacking my clothes from the move (and i understand i'm not the only one relocating- congrats Madge!!)... and maybe doing some laundry... shit. i left my laundry soap back at the old house... along with my chair and various wall hangings... eh, good thing that Tim still is there. i'll get them here in the next day or two.

looking for a book to read, so if anybody's got a recommendation, lemme know! otherwise, i might have to start reading last year's surplus text books, god forbid! ok, i'd probably read the cover of every movie i own before going to text books... and i think the phone book ranks higher, as well.... :)

and i'm thinking this is goodnight for me. cheers!
